I especially enjoy photographing private celebrations because the images can become part of a family’s history—cherished for decades and shared with future generations. I photograph birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, reunions, and other gatherings throughout San José and the San Francisco Bay Area, from a family backyard to an elegant celebration at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. My years in hospitality help me connect with guests, using conversation, a little humor, and gentle direction without interrupting the occasion.

I begin by reviewing your timeline and priorities, especially when you’re hosting and managing everything at once. Alongside candid moments and group photographs, I capture the room, food, décor, gifts, and details you’ve prepared, making an effort to include every guest.
