San Jose, CA
Built: 1910
The Preservation Action Council of San Jose and generous donations from the community saved the building from demolition.
The building was moved 900 ft to its new location on Reed street next to the 280 on-ramp.
Habitat For Humanity will renovate the 4 unit building into affordable housing units.
The apartment building was built for Christian Pallesen, a foreman at a local lumber Mill.
